Maximum precision is possible with the modular laser range finder for the Fokus HD50. An eye-safe laser with a wavelength of 905 nm is used, which makes distance measurements of up to 1200 metres possible. The range finder cannot be operated without the main unit. It is attached to the thermal imaging device with a precision guide and Torx screw connection. When not in use, a cover plate can be fitted to protect the electrical contacts.
